Firmer, uplifted and more pert breasts can be yours.
Pregnancy, ageing or weight loss can leave you with misshapen breasts that have dropped or with nipples that point downwards. But a breast uplift, or mastopexy, can restore your body confidence and create more youthful-looking breasts.
WHAT IS A BREAST LIFT?
It’s an operation to remove excess skin from your breasts to improve their shape.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A BREAST LIFT?
The procedure is performed under a general anaesthetic and takes between 90 minutes to two hours.
Cuts are made on the line of the areola (the darker area around your nipple) and underneath your areola. Excess skin is removed and your breast tissue is reshaped. Your nipple will be lifted so it is in a higher position.
If you have droopy breasts, a cut may also be needed under the crease of your breast. If your breasts are large and droopy, you will need a breast reduction.
WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
At either the Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital or Spire Leeds Hospital.
IS IT RIGHT FOR ME?
If you’re considering a breast uplift, the first step is a one-to-one consultation. We will discuss your medical history and talk about the pros and cons of having a breast uplift.
The procedure will only be recommended if it is suitable for you, if you are a non-smoker and if the results you want are achievable.
